Track Gallery Opening Event: Xiao Yu Bai 'Who Sees?'
About
Join us for the opening night of Xiao Yu Bai's solo exhibition, 'Who Sees?', at the Track Gallery.Thursday, 2nd April 6 - 7.30pm
Xiao's practice is informed by the Tao Te Ching, exploring Tao as a boundless presence that exists quietly within all things. Without fixed form, it remains in constant flow and cannot be fully grasped, yet it underlies all existence.
In 'Who Sees?', Bai explores stillness and inner vitality through painting and drawing. While nature often serves as a starting point, her work does not depict specific subjects but evokes an atmosphere of calmness, movement, and contemplation.
Bai uses blurring as a visual language to soften boundaries and forms, opening perception to more subtle and fluid states. Her process focuses on the relationships between space, light, and colour, as well as edges, surface, format, and scale, inviting viewers into a quiet, immersive experience.
The exhibition will be open to public:
