BRIGHT - a new play by Sean Riley

About
BRIGHT is an epic, ambitious and witty multi-narrative black comedy set in 1818 London. Dickensian in flavour, it focusses upon the Pittfield family - a large, loveable, basement-dwelling family who are attempting to escape their grinding existence. From grave-robbing to laundry to bare-fisted boxing, their halcyon dreams illuminate the endless shadows. A cracking good yarn - a theatrical 'page-turner' - BRIGHT is an urgent and pertinent exploration of the future of young people in a dangerous and uncertain world.
