Join authors Jimmy Thomson and George Hulse for a talk about their new book, The First ANZACs, the incredible untold stories of ANZAC combat engineers in World War I - the first Australians and New Zealanders to land at Anzac Cove.Jimmy Thomson is a journalist and has co-written three books about Australian sappers, and writes crime thrillers under the pen name James Dunbar.
Lieutenant Colonel George Hulse (Retd) OAM was a combat engineer, a 'Tunnel Rat' in the Vietnam War, and served with distinction in Malaysia, Kashmir and Papua New Guinea until his discharge in 1980. He is also the author of a book about Australian military working dogs, In Dogs We Trust.
