RMIT: NCWV Health Panel Screening and Live Education Panel
About
Join us on Friday 8 May for a Mother’s Day event hosted by NCWV & RMIT University Swanston Street Melbourne – regarding strengthening Women’s Health through InnovationIn light of the rapid take-up of opportunities to attend the NCWV Women’s Health Panel hosted by NCWV Patron The Governor of Victoria on 3 March, NCWV & RMIT University have come together to host a rescreening of excerpts of the original event that provided thought-provoking insights and highlighted the latest evidence and remaining gaps in women’s health. The discussion reinforced the importance of collaboration between researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and community organisations to ensure health systems better reflect women’s biological realities and lived experiences.
Perhaps you were unable to attend the original event, or did so and are keen for team members to be involved in the discussion?
Two of the Women’s Health Panel members - Prof Cassandra Szoeke and Sarah Barnbrook will be present to answer any audience questions you may have from the original event.
RMIT Deputy Vice-Chancellor STEM College and Vice-President Professor Catherine Itsiopoulos, and RMIT Discipline of Pharmacy Program Manager Dr Julie Stevens, will expand the conversation with a discussion on the importance of teaching sex-specific health within university health degrees.
Perhaps you were unable to attend the original event, or did so and are keen for team members to be involved in the discussion?
