Do Your Own Advance Care Directive (ACD)

People of Sorell, the Peninsula, the East Coast or Greater Hobart....Did you know you need to record your end of life wishes in a way that the doctors and nurses can understand and carry them out of you are not able to speak for yourself?
This two part event is designed for people who have not done an ACD but know they need to! That's most of you :)
The good news is, it's entirely free, the catch is that you need to be available for both sessions!
Tracey Rusden, end of life doula, from EOL Bucketlist and Bec Lyons, funeral director, from Solace End of Life Services, are offering this free, practical two part session right in the heart of Sorell.
Split over two days, a month apart, session 1 is an education session which will cover, what is an ACD, what sort of things do you need to know, what things do you need to consider when creating one... and much more. You will leave session 1 with the paperwork, some fact sheets and lots to think about.
In session 2, you will come again with your paperwork. You may have already started filling it out! But if not, that's also ok. Session 2 is where you will put pen to paper, complete your ACD and have it witnessed and bundled up ready to send in for registration.
This will be the best use of a few hours on a Friday afternoon, and there may even be a cuppa on hand. Why not bring something to share for an afternoon tea as we go.

SESSION 2 - FRIDAY 26TH JUNE - 11AM - 3PM
The venue will be Limina, 89 Weston Hill Rd, Sorell.
Event capacity will be 25, so register fast!
