A weekend training workshop is available for ABA trainees on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May, 2026. Bespoke training will be on offer to meet the individual needs of those attending. Due to our Federal Volunteer Grant funding, we are able to provide this workshop to trainees FREE of charge, however you will still need to register for this event for catering purposes. Trainees who attend this workshop will also receive a FREE hard copy of 'Breastfeeding: A Practical Guide' (N.B. this offer only applies to those trainees who have not yet received a hard copy).
BEFORE REGISTERING, please check with your group or region if you require any financial assistance with travel or accommodation needs. Please note: if seeking financial assistance from your group or region, it is expected that you would have contributed to your local group and ABA fundraising efforts, and demonstrate that you are making reasonable progress in your training. In some cases you may be asked to complete some units before being reimbursed, so please keep your receipts. We don’t want finances to stop you from coming – please contact Vicki Evans at vickiaevans@gmail.com if financial support is needed.
If you can help with set-up or pack-up, please indicate this in your registration form. Trainees will be able to claim this time towards their 150 hours volunteer training requirement.
