About

A Twilight Concert at Urrbrae House

Gillian Dooley (voice)
Stephen van der Hoek (piano)

Jane Austen wrote several poems. In this lighthearted concert we present some contemporary musical settings of her poems, including the Australian premiere of a new song cycle by UK composer Chris Gardner that re-imagines a selection of Austen’s verse in a variety of musical idioms - even sultry Latin rhythms and the blues. This is an event not to be missed!

**No ticket refunds unless event is cancelled by the organisers.
