“Culture, Community, and Connection”Do you know where Okinawa is? Okinawa is Japan’s southwesternmost prefecture and was once an independent nation known as the Ryukyu Kingdom. It is famous for its beautiful traditional arts, music and dance, as well as its healthy cuisine, often associated with longevity, attracting visitors from around the world.
This event is for anyone planning a trip to Japan or interested in learning more about Okinawa and its unique culture.
Ground Floor – Activity Room
Free admission to the Okinawa cultural introduction area (11:00am–3:00pm)
Level 2 – Performance Space
Enjoy Okinawan music and dance performances. Ticket purchase required. Pre-sale tickets are recommended for the best price. (2:30pm–4:30pm)
