June Kimbriki Recycling Tour and Worm Farm Workshop
About
A private bus will take participants from Mosman Square Car Park (near Meals and Wheels) to Kimbriki and return to Mosman.
We will learn first hand where all our recycling goes and what it takes to turn food scraps into nutrient rich soil through good worm farming techniques. Understand how to balance moisture content and ensure the health of your worms. Fresh worm tea and worm castings can increase nutrient content of edible foods. Worm farms can be particularly useful for people who live in small spaces or who need additional composting techniques to fully manage their food scraps.
We will also hold a collection on the day for people who don't mind bringing extra things to carry on the bus for recycling.
