The Senior Library is thrilled to be hosting our first 'Library After Dark' event featuring the author Amy Doak!An Australian author of gripping mysteries (the Eleanor Jones series, and 'What have they done to Liza McLean?'), Amy Doak will be joining us to share insight into her writing journey, followed by a Q&A session and book signing.
Your registration will include food & drinks, as well as the option to buy one of her books to have signed on the night.
TICKET OPTIONS:
There are three options for tickets, as outlined below. General Admission tickets are FREE, though you also have the option to purchase one of Amy Doak's novels.
• General admission (no book purchase) - this FREE ticket allows 1 person to attend the event, without pre-purchasing a book
• General admission + book purchase (Eleanor Jones is not a murderer) - this ticket allows 1 person to attend the event and includes purchasing a copy of Eleanor Jones is not a murderer (Book #1 in the Eleanor Jones series)
• General admission + book purchase (What have they done to Liza McLean?) - this ticket allows 1 person to attend the event and includes purchasing a copy of What have they done to Liza McLean?
Amy Doak will be signing books on the night.
AMY DOAK:
Amy Doak writes mysteries filled with action, adventure, fun and heart. Her debut Young Adult novel Eleanor Jones is not a Murderer won the 2024 Davitt Award for Best Crime Novel; was a CBCA 2024 notable; and was shortlisted for both the 2024 ABIA Awards Books of the Year for Older Readers, and for the 2024 Davitt Awards Best Debut Crime Novel. Amy lives in regional Victoria with her husband, two teenage children and a very grumpy cat. The fourth Eleanor Jones novel will be released in June 2026.
