Night Sky Stories
Join Palawa and Warlpiri artist and storyteller, Nunami Sculthorpe Green, along with scholar and writer Professor Greg Lehman, a descendant of the Trawulwuy people of north-east Tasmania - in conversation with 2026 Australian of the Year Katherine Bennell-Pegg – the first professional astronaut to represent Australia and a Director at the Australian Space Agency.
This campfire conversation in the TMAG courtyard will explore the ancient and enduring stories attached to the Sky Country of Lutruwita alongside contemporary practices of astronomy and space exploration.

Patron Advice: This is an outdoor event, under the night sky! Please bring warm clothing for a cool evening. Entry includes finger food and a drink. In case of poor weather this event will transfer to TMAG’s indoor Central Gallery.
