“Women Who Coach” program – Learn to Coach Clinic at FUWFC
About
Our plan to get more women involved in football starts with you. Join our new “Women Who Coach” program — a fun, beginner-friendly, and empowering way to step onto the pitch, learn the basics, build confidence, and get ready to support and lead our teams.FUWFC is hosting a free, female-centred football clinic for mums, players, and caregivers who are interested in learning the basics of coaching and supporting our teams.
This session is designed to help women feel confident stepping onto the pitch — to learn how to guide, support and encourage our players as coaches and assistant coaches.
You don’t need previous football or coaching experience. If you’ve ever thought “I’d love to help, but I’m not sure how” — this session is for you.
Come along to:
• Learn simple coaching activities and drills
• Understand how training sessions run
• Build confidence supporting a team
• Connect with other women in the club
• Take the first step toward assistant or coaching in general
This is a social, welcoming session focused on learning together and building the confidence to step forward and help on the pitch.
Because the more women we have coaching, supporting and leading, the stronger our club becomes.
