Ballarat Grammar Boarding is proudly running the 2026 Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Hot Cross Bun Drive!The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal is close to the hearts of our boarding community. Led by Wigan House in 2025, our boarders helped raise over $33,000 for the appeal, an incredible effort. This year, we’re aiming even higher and hope to beat that record!
The Royal Children’s Hospital has touched the lives of so many in our Grammar community, whether it’s your child, sibling, neighbour, or friend.
Let’s show Australia just how strong Grammarians can be when we come together to raise much-needed funds for a hospital we all cherish.
This year, Bakers Delight Wendouree has once again come on board to support our drive. With every 6-pack of hot cross buns sold, you’ll receive a loaf of bread voucher.
The impact of the Royal Children's Hospital reaches far beyond its walls it lives in the stories, the resilience, and the hope it brings to families every single day. Within our boarding house community at Ballarat Grammar, that impact is deeply personal.
Many of our students and families have, in moments of fear and uncertainty, turned to the Royal Children’s Hospital. Whether it’s been for life-saving treatment, ongoing care, or simply the reassurance of world-class support, the hospital has been there quietly changing lives, restoring health, and giving children the chance to grow, thrive, and return to the communities that love them.
In a boarding environment, where friendships become family, these experiences are shared and felt collectively. We celebrate the recoveries together, support one another through challenges, and never forget the role the hospital has played in those journeys. It’s not just a place of medicine, it’s a place of compassion, innovation, and hope.
