Aged Care Skills Day
Event Overview
SEMPHN, in partnership with Alfred Health, Monash Health and Peninsula Health is hosting a free, full-day skills workshop for all Residential Aged Care Homes staff across south east Melbourne.
This workshop is a unique opportunity to come together with peers and gain expert knowledge and learn practical skills from leading residential in-reach services and health professionals. Additionally, learn more about elder rights and upcoming programs and services from SEMPHN.
Topics and break out sessions include:
- Head to Toe nursing assessment
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
- Catheter insertion and care
- Elders Rights Advocacy
- SEMPHN Programs
