Preventative Health and Positive Ageing project event
About
ECU and its community organisation partners have started a movement to champion preventative health and positive ageing in WA.The movement focuses on working collaboratively to design and share evidence-informed, community-based approaches that reflect real needs and aspirations to help build a healthier future for everyone. We believe that by sharing knowledge and ideas, creating new connections and strengthening existing ones, we can make a difference to people's well-being.
We’re hosting an in-person event on 6 May 2026, during Heart Week, for people interested in being part of our preventative health and positive ageing movement.
Attendee registration is required so we can cater to dietary needs (lunch provided) and support any accessibility or transport assistance requests.
The venue is close to public transport (near Leederville train station), or if you choose to drive, there will be free parking available at the rear of the building.
People of all ages are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!
Thank you, from ECU and our community partners Advocare, Befriend, Dementia Australia, Health Consumers’ Council of WA and LiveUp
