Healthy Masculinity hosted by Daniel Principe
About
St Joseph's and Iona Colleges have the pleasure of welcoming Daniel to Geelong for a parent information session on Tuesday 9 June at 6.30pm in the St Joseph's College Performing Arts Centre.Daniel is a nationally recognised advocate for young people, known for his engaging and relatable approach to the complex pressures boys face today. His student sessions focus on modelling respect and equality, promoting positive and healthy masculinity, and challenging rigid gender based stereotypes that can limit boys’ emotional wellbeing and relationships. These conversations strongly support our Catholic values and our commitment to forming young men of character, compassion, and integrity.
For parents, Daniel will offer valuable insights into the digital influences shaping boys’ attitudes, along with practical strategies to foster open communication and encourage respectful behaviors at home.
This initiative represents a meaningful opportunity for the St Joseph’s & Iona communities to work together in guiding our young men toward respectful relationships, strong identity formation, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be good men in today’s world.
