ThinkerLab Robotics & Coding -- Beginner Program (Ages 7–14)

A structured, hands-on program where kids don’t just follow instructions — they build, test, troubleshoot, and improve their own robot projects each week.

Designed for curious kids ready to move beyond passive screen time and start developing real-world problem-solving, focus, and confidence.

📌 Course Details

• Duration: 9 weeks
• Dates: 22 April – 24 June 2026 (no session on 27 May)
• Time: 4:15pm – 5:45pm
• Location: Caroline Springs Library – Meeting Room 2
• Group Size: Small group for personalised guidance
• Equipment: All robotics materials provided

🤖 What Your Child Will Learn

• Micro:bit coding fundamentals
• Robotics foundations (motors, sensors, logic)
• Step-by-step problem-solving strategies
• How to troubleshoot when things don’t work

Weekly Projects Include:

• Building and customising a rover
• Maze and navigation challenges
• Obstacle and line-following missions

Students also develop:
• Confidence
• Persistence
• Communication and teamwork skills

🏆 Builder Program Completion

At the end of the term, every student will:

• Receive a ThinkerLab Builder Certificate
• Take home a Learning Journey Book to track their progress, ideas, and builds
