Presented by Orticare.This clinical network meeting will explore practical approaches to working with benzodiazepine dependence in everyday clinical settings. The session will provide a practical overview of benzodiazepines, the risks associated with long term use and why dependence develops. Participants will learn how to recognise dependence and how to support someone beginning treatment for this dependence.
Attendees will gain insights into safe withdrawal strategies, common symptoms, and effective support techniques. By the end, attendees will have practical tools and a compassionate framework for helping clients reduce or discontinue benzodiazepines safely.
