Bright Minds - Movie Making The Power of Visual Storytelling
About
In a world where young people are constantly engaging with video and digital media, it is important that they learn not just how to watch content, but how to understand and create it. Filmmaking helps students communicate ideas creatively, understand how media influences audiences, and work collaboratively to bring ideas to life.In this hands-on workshop, students will use iPads and iMovie to explore how camera angles, shot types and editing shape meaning. Working in teams, students will film and edit their own short movie, drawing on silent filmmaking techniques to strengthen their ability to communicate meaning through visual storytelling alone.
Designed and run by QACI students studying the highly popular IB Diploma Programme Film course, this workshop empowers students to use film as a powerful form of creative expression.
