Bláithín is a multi-instrumentalist from North Tipperary. Bláithín has won many national accolades on the fiddle, whistle, mandolin, and piano. She was a member of the last Comhaltas tour of Ireland and has performed all over Ireland and the UK. Bláithín has also performed abroad at many festivals, including Italy and the USA.
 

Flute/Whistle Workshop - Starts 12:00pm (please arrive 11:45am)  St Peters Church Hall  - Tutor: Emma McCleery

Emma is a fully qualified Irish traditional music tutor/musician in Irish flute/whistle from Co Down, N Ireland and is currently a member of Ards Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (Ards CCÉ), which is North Down’s leading Traditional Irish Music organisation. She has been playing Irish flute and whistle for almost 17 years and during that time has achieved the coveted titles of County & Provincial group champion and All-Ireland Final Medallist.

All Instruments Workshop - Starts 2pm (please arrive 1:45pm) St Peters Church Hall, Surry Hills, Sydney - Tutor: Stephen Murray

Originally from County Down Stephen is a Munster Fleadh champion fiddler. He comes from a musical family and started playing the fiddle from the early age of 7. Stephen has enjoyed the Fleadh Ceol competitions and celebrations for much of his childhood and continues to play music every weekend across Sydney in various venues.

Irish Harp Workshop - Starts 3pm (please arrive 2:45pm) St Peters Church Hall, Surry Hills, Sydney - Tutor: Cliona Molins

Clíona is a Sydney-based harp player, teacher and composer. She was classically trained in Dublin at the Royal Irish Academy of Music where she studied both the Irish and Concert Harp.
