Youth Mental Health First Aid Training - 2 Days
About
The Youth Mental Health First Aid Course is a two-day training session designed to equip you (adults 18 years and above) with the tools to provide initial support to adolescents experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.Over the two days you will learn about:
Adolescent development, signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in young people, where and how to get help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, how to provide first aid in crisis situations.
Participants will receive a Youth Mental Health First Aid manual and Certificate of Accreditation upon the successful completion of the course.
Details:
Day One: Friday 1 May 2026 from 9am to 5pm.
Day Two: Friday 8 May 2026 from 9am to 5pm.
Morning tea, plus a light lunch will be provided. Please advise any allergies.
