This special Independence Day performance brings the timeless songs of John Mellencamp to life, from 'Jack & Diane', 'Hurts So Good', to 'Pink Houses', 'Small Town', 'R.O.C.K. in the USA', and many more fan favourites.
With authentic arrangements, gritty vocals and a powerhouse band, Scarecrow channels the spirit and blue-collar edge that made Mellencamp an American icon, turning Yarraville Live into a slice of the American heartland for one unforgettable night.
On the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, audiences will be taken on a journey through the sounds of the American heartland - songs of working towns, big dreams and everyday people - delivered with energy, honesty and a whole lot of rock and roll.
Whether you grew up with these songs or are discovering them for the first time, it will be a night to sing along, raise a glass and celebrate both a milestone in American history and the music that defined a generation.
To mark the 250th anniversary, we encourage you to come dressed in red, white &/or blue, to help turn the room into a sea of stars and stripes.
