About
2026 - Term 2 (30 April - 25 June, 2026 Thursdays)Time 3:05 PM to 4:35 PM
Beginner's Engineering and Robotics Club @ Science Room
The Beginner's Engineering & Robotics Program teaches students theoretical knowledge in software and mechanical engineering, mathematics, and physics.
During Term 2, 2026, students will explore an exciting Smart Home Applications theme, building and coding innovative models inspired by real-life home technologies such as automated systems and interactive devices. Through these hands-on projects, students will learn key engineering and coding concepts including centrifugal and centripetal force, gear transmission, spiral (snail) gear transmission for speed reduction, and angle (crown) gear transmission for directional movement. They will also explore speed control mechanisms and develop coding skills using distance sensors to create responsive and intelligent systems.
These engaging activities will help students understand how modern smart devices function while strengthening their problem-solving, creativity, and STEM skills in a fun and interactive way.
The course aims to introduce students to the practical and theoretical aspects of technology, software engineering, math, and entrepreneurship.
