About
ANZAC Day is a solemn occasion for all Australians and New Zealanders to honour the service and sacrifice of those who have served in war and on peacekeeping operations.Once again, the Queen Victoria Gates of Paddington’s Victoria Barracks will be opened to welcome the local community to join the men and women of the Australian Defence Force as we come together and commemorate ANZAC Day .
This event provides a unique opportunity for military members and the community to connect, share in the traditions of service, and pay tribute to the enduring legacy of the ANZACs.
Event Details:
• Gates Open: 0500
• Pre-Dawn Readings: 0530
• Service Commences: 0600
• Gates Close: 0730
Note: No dogs are to be brought onto the Barracks (Recognised service dogs are allowed)
