About
Adolescence can be a challenging time, and it’s not always easy to know when changes in mood or behaviour are part of typical development or something more.Join us for a supportive and practical webinar designed for parents and carers. This session will help you better understand anxiety and depression in young people and how to respond in a helpful and confident way.
In this session, you will:
• Learn about the psychological, social, and biological factors that can contribute to anxiety and depression.
• Understand the difference between typical adolescent mood changes and signs of a more serious concern.
• Recognise common risk factors, triggers, and early warning signs.
• Understand the impact of technology and social media use on adolescent mental health.
• Explore practical ways to support your child’s wellbeing at home and when to seek additional support.
