Two voices. Many strings. Endless stories.Brooke Taylor and Delsinki are 'The Deserters', a powerhouse duo crafting raw, honest songs delivered with grit, heart, and a good dose of dry humour. Their sound spans baroque textures, dusty country, classic folk and low-down blues, all tied together by rich harmonies and road-worn storytelling.
With deep roots in Melbourne’s music scene, they’ve been hitting stages across the city, throughout regional Victoria, and on the folk festival circuit, turning heads and winning ears along the way. Recent appearances at St Kilda Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, and Yackandandah Folk Festival have cemented their reputation as a compelling live act not to be missed. They're often joined by multi-instrumentalist Dan Brodie, adding further depth and dynamism to their live sound.
Their debut album, produced by Mick Thomas, was released in 2026, marking a bold new chapter for two of the scene’s most respected and road-tested artists.
