2026 Emerging Growth Areas Forum
About
The Emerging Growth Areas Forum brings together elected members and senior executives from councils experiencing early-stage but accelerating population growth. As growth pressures intensify across Australia, many regional and outer metropolitan councils are navigating challenges that established growth areas have faced for decades — from infrastructure sequencing and service planning to organisational readiness and community expectations.
This forum provides a practical, peer-based opportunity to learn from those who have done it before.
Held alongside the NGAA National Congress, the Forum leverages national expertise and real-world experience from growth councils across the country — positioning NGAA as a trusted, solutions-focused partner in managing growth.
NGAA Members are eligible to attend for free. Please contact the event organiser for more information.
