Ayesha Safdar in 2010 founded the Adelaide Pakistani Women’s Association
(APWA) for women from all backgrounds to feel safe and included while
adjusting to life in Australia.
Ayesha empowers women to build confidence and develop skills needed to
help newly-arrived migrant and refugee women find their place in Australian
society.
