From Chaos to Clarity - Yoga • Meditation • Sound Immersion
About
Some days the mind feels loud, crowded, and hard to settle. Even when the body is still, there’s movement — thoughts looping, planning, remembering, reacting. It can feel like you’re being pulled in every direction at once. This immersion begins inside that experience, not away from it.
Inspired by the Four Foundations of Mindfulness — a core Buddhist teaching on training the mind — this month’s practice feels especially timely. In uncertain times, when the external world can feel unstable, these teachings offer a way to return to something steady and grounded within direct experience.
The first hour is devoted to breath and gentle yin yoga. Through long-held, supported shapes, the body softens and slows. As physical stillness deepens, you’ll begin to notice the movement of the mind more clearly — the restlessness, the grasping, the subtle tension. This is where mind training begins: learning to observe without needing to fix or change anything.
The second hour moves into guided meditation, followed by an extended sound immersion. Here, sound becomes a reflection of the inner landscape — beginning in layered, textured tones that mirror the feeling of chaos, and gradually evolving into a more coherent, unified resonance. As the sound simplifies and opens into space, so too can the mind — settling into stillness, into clarity, into a quieter sense of ease.
This is not about escaping the chaos. It’s about understanding it, and discovering the peace that’s already present beneath it.
No experience necessary.
