Multi-award winning author/illustrator Peter Carnavas is visiting Hobart and SCBWI Tasmania is delighted to invite you to meet him for dinner. A former primary school teacher, Peter's publishing journey began in 2008 and he now has over twenty books to his name including The Elephant and My Brother Ben. Peter will chat about his work and what it is that he thinks kids need from their books in 2026. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to meet and chat with one of Australia's most successful kidslit creators!Dinner will be held at the Crescent Hotel in North Hobart. Ticket price is $15 for SCBWI financial members and $25 non-members. Please note that admission does NOT include the cost of dinner or drinks, both of which must be paid separately on the night.
