About
🪷 Community dinner, Conversations & Art-making🪷KARU Naarm and Sapna Climate Solidarity (@karu.naarm and @sapnaclimatesolidarity on Instagram) are bringing together South Asian celebrations of new year & changing of the seasons.
We invite South Asian diaspora to connect to culture, and understand how it is rooted in the land and seasons. Expect collaborative art activities, zines and displays, meaningful conversations about land and climate, & Bengali style dinner!
WHEN: Fri 24th April, 6-10pm
WHERE: Bargoonga Nganjin Library, 182-186 St Georges St, Fitzroy North 3068
Tickets are on a sliding scale, there is a free option available but your contribution will help us cover food + venue costs. Dinner is included for all ticket types!
All additional proceeds will be donated!
