It all started with a Big W ad—an old ‘60s tune sparked an idea in Robyn Brown’s mind: what if the iconic songs of the 1960s were reimagined through a fresh, jazz-infused lens?The result is Swinging into the Sixties—a vibrant, feel-good show that’s been delighting audiences with its clever reinterpretations of the decade’s most beloved hits. From the Beatles to California Dreamin’, from Sunshine Superman to Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, this show captures the spirit of the Six- ties with a sophisticated twist of jazz, soul, and funk.
The 1960s were a time of transformation—mini-skirts and mop tops, Go- Go boots and mod scooters, peace signs and pop revolutions. Robyn Brown & The Indigo Collective channel this iconic era with rich arrange- ments, stunning musicianship, and irresistible grooves.
Expect the unexpected: a soulful California Dreamin’, a swinging take on the Beatles, Sunshine Superman in 7/8 time, or a funky rework of The Beat Goes On. It’s nostalgic, it’s cool, and it’s packed with toe-tapping energy
and sing-along favourites.

Step inside from 6:30 pm. The music begins at 7:30 pm. Venue closes at 11.30pm.
Seating is unreserved and claimed by those who arrive first — the early ones always find the best vantage point.
Food and small plates will be available throughout the evening, and the bar will be flowing with local and international wines, classic cocktails, fine spirits, and a deep collection of bourbons worthy of New Orleans itself.
To find us, follow Mead Lane to its very end. Turn left. Look for the red door. We’re the fourth premise on the right.
