The Carpenter's Mallet is used for striking chisels and gouges, for driving in wedges and many other uses around the workshop. They have been used for centuries. The Carver's Mallet tends to be round, the Carpenter's Mallet traditionally has a rectangular head fitted to a handle. This workshop will take you through the journey of transforming two pieces of wood into a beautiful and very handy Mallet! It will last you a lifetime.No prior woodworking experience necessary. This workshop provides a great opportunity to begin a woodworking journey of discovery. Even if you are a seasoned woodworker, there are always new things to learn & experience. There's nothing like using a mallet you have made yourself!
Open to people of any gender from anywhere in Perth, young and old, minimum age 12. Kids must be accompanied by a participating paid up adult. This could be a great experience to share with your offspring. Maximum number of workshop participants is 8.
Cost per entry ticket is $99 incl.GST. Admit one person.
NOTE: Everybody entering the workshop space must wear sturdy covered shoes. No open toed shoes, no Crocs, no pumps - the whole foot covered.
Location: 89C Briggs Street, Carlisle 6101, WA.
Duration: 2.5 hours, from 5:30-8:00pm on a Wednesday evening.
