We are running this again by popular demand! Come and join us as we learn to carve Birds and Animals.Discover the joy of shaping a lovely piece of wood using traditional whittling methods. In this workshop, you will learn how to use a sloyd knife to carve a cute little animal or bird. Choose from our growing variety of wooden blanks such as ducks, wombats, pigs, snakes, rabbits, penguins, puppies, numbats, turtles, and more. Such fun!
Develop your whittling skills as you transform your blank into an amazing bird or animal. Will your creation be more stylised or loaded with details? You can choose as you go along.
Whittling is a delightfully mindful and engaging pastime. It is even more fun as we do it together.
Open to men and women from anywhere in Perth, young and old, minimum age 12. Kids must be accompanied by a participating paid up adult. This could be a great experience to share with your offspring. Maximum number of workshop participants is 8.
Cost per entry ticket is $99 incl.GST. Admit one person.
NOTE: Everybody entering the workshop space must wear sturdy covered shoes. No open toed shoes, no Crocs, no pumps - the whole foot covered.
Location: 89C Briggs Street, Carlisle 6101, WA.
Duration: 2.5 hours, from 5:30-8:00pm on a Wednesday evening.
