The Bear Pit is back with another night of hilarious live comedy at Northies on Saturday 11 July.This time round we welcome Andrew "Barney" Barnett, one of Australia's sharpest stand-up comedians. He’s a quick-witted, razor-tongued storyteller with a gift for sports comedy and an easygoing charm that wins over any crowd.
He’ll be supported by hugely talented locals fresh from the comedy festival circuit Charlotte Kuruc, Jeremy Smith and Harris Stuckey, and regular host Greg Kimball.
Barney is a regular at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival, and has performed across Australia and New Zealand, bringing his blend of clever observation and laugh-out-loud anecdotes to stages, screens, and stadiums alike.
On screen, Barney is best known as co-host of Fox League's beloved The Professor's Late Hit, where he earned his nickname, and co-created The Night Watchmen on Fox Cricket. He also spent four years contributing to Not The NRL News on Sunday Night with Matty Johns, and has built a loyal podcast following through The Professor and Barney Podcast on Kayo Sports.
