Discover the mindful art of bookbinding and create your very own unique handmade journal.In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the beautiful Coptic bind stitch alongside the decorative French link stitch, and how these techniques work together to create one stunning journal.
These bindings allow your book to lay completely flat—perfect for sketchbooks, journals, scrapbooking, watercolour, art journaling, daily diaries, and more.
During this relaxed 2.5–3 hour session, you’ll be guided step-by-step with all materials and tools provided, so you can simply enjoy the creative process.
We’ll be using plain 110gsm paper for the pages, with a choice of landscape or portrait format. If you’d like to use your own specialty paper (such as your favourite watercolour paper), please get in touch beforehand for sizing details.
By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a beautiful handmade journal and the skills to create more at home.
