About

About This Group
- This monthly group has been created for high masking autistic young adults aged 18–35 who are looking for a low-pressure, supportive space to connect with others, feel understood, and explore shared experiences in a more structured and predictable environment.

- This group is designed for autistic young adults who are seeking connection, understanding, and community with others who share similar experiences.

- Perhaps you were diagnosed later in life, have spent years masking or camouflaging, feel misunderstood, and find typical social environments exhausting, and are unsure where you fit.

- We meet monthly for facilitated discussions, learning about neurodiversity, and building genuine connections in a space where you can unmask and be yourself.

- This group is intended to offer a welcoming, neuroaffirming space for connection, reflection, and learning.

- The group is facilitated by a clinical psychologist and an autistic accredited practising dietitian, and will aim to balance supportive discussion with practical education and shared understanding.

This group may be right for you if:
- You are looking to meet others with similar lived experiences of navigating the
world as a high masking autistic adult

- You usually find it harder to connect with others, or are overlooked in typical social settings

- You may mask your differences, or have a more internalised profile of autism

- You are interested in learning more about autism and neurodiversity

-You want a judgment-free space to explore your autistic identity

- You want a space where masking isn't required, and authenticity is welcomed

- You're seeking peer support alongside supportive education

- You value a low-pressure space where you can participate at your own pace

- You're able to participate independently in a peer support setting
