Join us for an inspiring evening at our new City Campus with ECU’s Young Alumni Network as we explore what it means to build a strong personal and professional brand.Branding for Success brings together a panel of ECU alumni and former staff who have carved out impactful careers across healthcare, business, the arts and technology. Through honest conversation and real experiences, they will share how they have built credibility, navigated challenges and created opportunities.
Meet your panel:
Lorna Cook
Registered Nurse and healthcare leader, Lorna is the co-founder of Chemo@home, Australia’s largest provider of home-based chemotherapy and medical infusions. Her work has transformed patient access and experience in cancer care, earning national recognition including ECU Distinguished Alumna and induction into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame.
Chris Nelson
Co-Founder and Managing Director of Juicebox, Chris leads a brand and technology agency working across Australia and Indonesia. With a background in Computer Science, he now focuses on helping businesses grow through emerging technologies, including AI.
Sherene Strahan
Sherene Strahan is a strategic narrative consultant who helps organisations and people communicate the value of their work so it’s understood and supported. Alongside consulting, Sherene now runs Professional Narrative workshops that help people explain their work clearly in real-world situations, from conversations and networking to proposals and profiles.
Bourby Webster
Bourby Webster is an arts leader, cultural entrepreneur and strategist. She is best known as the founder of the Perth Symphony Orchestra, one of Western Australia’s largest arts companies, and is now the Founder and Creative Director of The RARE Company (Really Awesome Reimagined Experiences Company).
