Women's Spirituality Afternoon
About
Be inspired and uplifted at this special afternoon gathering for women! Enjoy a delicious lunch served by the Mary Help of Christians MenAlive team, followed by engaging talks from a senior member of the MGL Sisters’ leadership team on women’s spirituality and from Karen Flood, a well-known prison chaplain with 20 years of experience, on how women grieve and pray through stress. Also, Belle Joseph speaking about her newly launched book Trauma and Meaning in French Concentration Camp Poetry (1943-1945). Belle spent several years on this work, which won a university medal at ANU. She is a local young woman active in the spiritual life and spiritual relationships.Connect over afternoon tea, small group sharing, and finish the day by joining the parish for the 5:30pm Rosary and 6pm Mass.

2:00pm – Talk by a member of the MGL Sisters’ Leadership Team: Women’s Distinctive Spirituality
3:00pm – Afternoon Tea
3:30pm – Talk by Belle Joseph on her new book (Finding Meaning in Trauma) and Karen Flood, former Prison Chaplain (20 years): How Women Grieve and Pray Through Stress
4:30pm – Final cuppa and small group sharing
Conclude the afternoon with the option to join the parish for the 5:30pm Rosary and 6:00pm Mass
