Long-time friends Bec and Marty (aka Valley Road) appreciate a good harmony, thoughtful instrumentation and quality songcraft. They collaborate in an organic way, creating moments of gentle beauty and magic that often stir the soul. Their songs are rich in imagery, containing echoes of the dry bush and rolling hills of Central Victoria. Funded by the Troubadour Foundation and produced by Rod McCormack, Valley Road’s first album achieved widespread national airplay and was a finalist for Best Debut Album at the Australian Folk Alliance Awards. They now have a second album on the way, which represents an exciting evolution of their sound.Date
