About

Held annually since 1973, World Environment Day is an important day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the environment. Our 2026 dinner (the 49th!) features key members of the scientific team that brought us the broadscale microplastic assessment of NSW estuaries report in March 2026. Hear first-hand about their work on the first large-scale study of its kind in Australia and the implications of their findings.

The Dinner will be held at Candelo Town Hall, starting at 6pm. Your delicious buffet meal will be prepared by the Cowsnest Community Farm volunteers and all funds raised will go to supporting community volunteers.
