On the 5th & 6th of June this year, a Country SA representative team will make history and be the first ever team to represent a rural region of Australia, in the 20 year history of the Bali Masters."The Slugs" will have representation in the Over 35's, 45's & 55's divisions of what is recognised as, the "Biggest Australian Rules Football tournament,in the world".
To celebrate the formation of this squad of players heading over, for this 'June Long Weekend Footy Extravaganza' an event themed "Stories of Human Resilience & Durability" has been created.
Peter Motley has just released a long awaited book. This contains a number of previously untold stories from his life & football career.
Two great South Australians, Peter Motley & Derrick McManus, will share about the extraordinary lives they've lead, Peter with his remarkable career as an SANFL and VFL footballer, and Derrick as an elite Star Force officer and global teacher on leadership & human durability.
Our guest speakers have amazing stories of having major life threatening incidents occur during their lives.
Both have confounded the medical world with their survival and recovery from suffering major physical trauma.
As the event organisers, Aussie Rules Global feel immensely fortunate to be able to bring these 2 remarkable South Australians together, to speak at the one event.
Your MC for the evening will be Bevan Jones, of "Legends with Bevo" podcast fame.
