The Royal Flying Doctor Service Darling Downs Auxiliary invites you to our Annual Long Luncheon to raise funds for the 'Wellbeing Out West' program.'Wellbeing Out West' provides mental health support for the people of regional and remote Queensland. In the last couple of years, these communities experienced two major floods that resulted in significant stock and infrastructure losses, only adding to the challenges of being so far from anywhere!
Join us to hear Leila McDougall, an Australian filmmaker, writer, and advocate known for her work on the feature film Just A Farmer. She'll address the mental health challenges in rural communities and spark critical conversations about the well-being of farming families.
A raffle and auction will also be held with proceeds supporting this important work.
