Actually Autistic Canberra -Peer Connection Group for Adults
ABOUT
Actually Autistic Canberra is an Autistic only, low-demand, in-person space for shared support and connection. This is a peer connection group led by an Autistic therapist. It is not group therapy and there is no set program or curriculum, but discussions are facilitated.
There’s no expectation to talk, share personal details, or participate in any particular way. You’re welcome to join the conversation, listen, sit quietly, or step out if needed.
People who are self-diagnosed (e.g. not formally diagnosed), recently diagnosed, and those who are further ahead in their autism journey are all very welcome to attend.
The group runs monthly on Tuesdays from 6:30–8:00 pm, tickets can be purchased through Trybooking.
Arrival and departure are flexible. Because the building is secure, arrivals are managed at the door, but there’s no expectation to stay for the whole session.
Light snacks and drinks are provided.
Please note: this space is for Autistic adults only and is not open to parents, partners, carers, or professionals attending in a support role.
