Our club has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Concern Australia, and in particular its “STEPS Outreach Service”. Since 1985, Concern Australia has dedicated STEPS workers and volunteers walking alongside young people, children, and families experiencing or transitioning out of homelessness or at risk of homelessness. They engage with young people through night-time street outreach in Melbourne’s CBD, followed by daytime outreach and ongoing support, offering care, hope and opportunities.Our Guest Speaker is Judith Atkinson, the CEO of Concern Australia. Judith joined Concern Australia in May 2023. She is passionate about providing opportunities for young people to transform their lives and live to the fullest. She has held leadership roles in nonprofit, government and faith-based organisations in the UK, USA and Australia. She is a graduate of the Universities of Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
