The Higher School Certificate (HSC) is the highest schooling credential in NSW, awarded to students upon successful completion of Years 11 and 12. The HSC is managed by NESA, and provides a rigorous, standardised record of achievement for university admission, vocational training, or employment.
But what does it all mean? And how do parents support their children on the journey towards the HSC?
This seminar, presented by our Head of Academics, Miss Lauren Kenny, will help parents better understand what the HSC is all about, and how ACC is supporting students and families, with topics including:
The Big Picture: HSC vs. ATAR
The Rule Book: HSC Requirements
The Formula: The Marks
