Join MindShift Australia and Tania Alexander Yoga for a transformative celebration of International Yoga Day.  In alignment with a vision for global health and wellbeing, our 2026 event proudly features the theme “Unity in Motion.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time, are a seasoned practitioner, or fall somewhere in between, there’s something for you regardless of your experience.  Choose from six mindfully themed and curated sessions across the day and practice in collective unity.

Six Different Sessions: From “Community Awakening” to “Slow Down & Soothe”, there’s a session suitable for every ability and fitness level.

Expert Guidance: Learn from experienced teachers trained in inclusive, trauma-informed, and community-based practices.

Your Safety Prioritised: Enjoy peace of mind with our strict hygiene protocols and floor markers to ensure adequate personal space.

Recognition of Involvement:  Every participant will receive a digital “International Yoga Day 2026 Certificate of Participation” to mark their involvement and contribution to this year’s unifying event.

📅 Event Schedule (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Each 45-minute session is followed by a dedicated 30-minute sanitization window for your safety.

1. Community Awakening: Gentle morning yoga session to awaken the body and breath.

2. Strength & Stability: Utilise the core, play with your unique postural alignment.

3. Empowerment Flow: Invite challenge in this dynamic Vinyasa Flow session.

4. Accessible Action: Yoga practices adapted to the chair. For all abilities.

5. The Stress Buster: Learn techniques to manage stressors of the modern world.

6. Slow Down & Soothe: Experience release with Yin Yoga and Guided Meditation
