Dookie LEAP Community Workshop
About
LEAPing into Safer Communities is a joint project between Greater Shepparton City Council and Strathbogie Shire Council, and local communities, supported by the Victorian State Government through the Safer Together initiative. The LEAP Project Officer is working side‑by‑side with local residents, community groups, and emergency services to co‑create Local Emergency Action Plans (LEAPs) that draw on local knowledge, experience, and priorities.
Dookie’s LEAP will be the second developed within Greater Shepparton and is a chance for the community to come together to strengthen local preparedness and resilience.
This plan relies on community input - get involved and help make it happen.
If you live, work, or have a connection to Dookie, now is the time to share your knowledge, raise local concerns, and help build a practical plan that supports your community before, during, and after emergencies. Your voice is essential, and your participation will make a real difference.
