Multi award-winning Australian blues act, The Backsliders, led by founding member Dom Turner, return to the live circuit in 2026, celebrating 40 years of touring and recording, with a re-invented line-up following the death of their long-time drummer Rob Hirst.Joining Dom is another long-time Backslider, harmonica prodigy, Joe Glover, along with the twin-drummer combination of Rosscoe Clark (Foreday Riders, Cyril B Bunter) and Hamish Stuart (Don Walker, Jackie Orszaczky, Ian Moss, Hirst, Moginie and Stuart).
After Dom played with US Blues/Rock group, The Tedeschi Trucks Band, who featured twin-drummers in the tradition of the Allman Brothers, he was inspired to do the same following Rob Hirst's passing.
The show will feature an all-original setlist of songs by DomTurner and Rob Hirst.
Look out for a few special guests on the night!
