Venue: Glenallen School, 7 Allen St Glen Waverley
Kiwanis Club of Monash Waverley and the University of Melbourne Departments of Audiology and Speech Pathology, Optometry and Vision Sciences are pleased to offer free hearing and vision screens for pre-school children who are attending primary school for the first time in 2027 and currently are attending 4 year old kindergarten.
Screening activities will include a brief caregiver completed questionnaire, a hearing detection screen and examination of your child’s outer and middle ears. Vision screening will include tests of visual acuity, eye co-ordination and focusing.
Please allow around 40 minutes for the complete screen, with results and advice provided to you on the day.
PLEASE NOTE
Unfortunately, because of the nature of the screening we are unable to accept bookings for children younger than 4.
Bookings are essential. ONLY ONE CHILD PER TIME SLOT PLEASE. No walk-ins are available
Bookings open on Friday 1st May 2026 at 9 am and close 9 am Friday 15th May 2026 or until booked out.
